The Brown Stitch is another business we run and in 2013 we decided it was time for an updated brand look. We updated the typography and color palette as well as included a hand-drawn illustration of the yarn ball which was then converted into Illustrator. This yarn ball then became the ‘icon’ of the business, being used as the avatar/profile image on social media. We also created multiple versions of this logo depending on the situation: a version on brown, a version on white, and a black and white version. Finally, The Brown Stitch’s Facebook page was updated to reflect this new look. The new logo/icon was implemented as well as the tab pages were customized in the brand’s new font.
